Introduction
SPX Express, a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic SOC Shift Lead to join our team at the Sortation Center (SOC) in Kabupaten Batang, Jawa Tengah. This pivotal role oversees the end‑to‑end flow of parcels, ensuring that inbound, sortation, bagging, reprocessing, and outbound operations run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will act as a frontline leader, driving productivity, maintaining strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through 5S methodology.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily operational performance of the Sortation Center, supervising inbound receipt, sortation lines, bagging stations, reprocessing activities, and outbound dispatch.
- Ensure all processes comply with established SOPs, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Develop and adjust manpower plans in response to fluctuating daily volume, aligning workforce availability with peak and off‑peak periods.
- Track team productivity, equipment utilization, and capacity metrics; generate reports to highlight variances and propose corrective actions.
- Conduct regular briefings and debriefings with the operational team to communicate performance results, address challenges, and reinforce 5S principles.
- Collaborate with maintenance, IT, and inventory control teams to resolve equipment downtime and system issues that could impact throughput.
- Mentor and coach supervisors and frontline staff, cultivating strong leadership pipelines within the SOC.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing cycle time, minimizing errors, and enhancing overall service levels.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred.
- At least 2‑3 years of experience in logistics, with a minimum of 2 years in a Warehouse Supervisor or Head of Warehouse role.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate diverse teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in workforce planning, KPI tracking, and basic data analysis.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
- Ability to relocate to Kabupaten Batang, Jawa Tengah, and comply with a Monday‑Saturday schedule (09:30‑18:30).
