Responsibilities
The Community Officer will be the frontline liaison between our organization and the women we serve. Key responsibilities include:
- Visiting assigned neighborhoods to build trusted relationships with low‑income women entrepreneurs.
- Conducting one‑on‑one and group workshops on basic financial management, budgeting, and disciplined savings practices.
- Facilitating group‑based loan disbursements without collateral, ensuring transparent documentation and timely repayment schedules.
- Listening attentively to client needs, identifying challenges, and proposing tailored solutions that enhance business sustainability.
- Monitoring loan performance, following up on installments, and providing ongoing support to prevent defaults.
- Collaborating with internal product teams to adapt financial products to local market conditions.
- Collecting and reporting field data, client feedback, and success stories to inform program improvement.
- Representing the organization at community events, local government meetings, and partner gatherings.
- Maintaining accurate records using Excel and Microsoft Word, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Female, aged 18‑33 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3 or S1 preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a genuine passion for social outreach.
- Ability to adapt quickly to diverse cultural settings and work independently in the field.
- Detail‑oriented with basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
