Introduction
PT Mitra Berkat Abadi, in partnership with PT ECS Raya Indonesia, is seeking an experienced Sales Sparepart Mobil dan Motor (Dealer) to join our dynamic automotive team. This role focuses on promoting and selling automotive battery products to retailers, workshops, and end‑users across the Jabodetabek region. The ideal candidate will combine proven sales expertise with a deep understanding of the automotive spare‑part market, especially batteries for cars and motorcycles.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new wholesale customers, including auto parts stores, motorcycle and car repair shops, and fleet operators within the Jakarta metropolitan area.
- Present and demonstrate the features, advantages, and technical specifications of our battery range, tailoring the pitch to each client’s specific vehicle type and usage pattern.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Process orders accurately, coordinate with the logistics team for timely delivery, and follow up to confirm receipt and satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage the entire payment cycle, ensuring invoices are settled on time and any discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Maintain and nurture long‑term relationships with existing customers through regular visits, after‑sales support, and proactive problem‑solving.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth strategy of the automotive division.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor products, pricing trends, and emerging technologies such as electric‑vehicle batteries, and report findings to the sales manager.
- Participate in trade shows, product launches, and training sessions to stay current with industry developments.
- Prepare weekly sales reports, forecast future demand, and recommend promotional activities to boost volume.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (SLTA).
- At least 3 years of hands‑on sales experience in the automotive sector, preferably dealing with car or motorcycle batteries.
- Valid driver’s license (SIM C) and personal motor vehicle for field visits.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer‑centric mindset.
- Good organizational abilities to manage multiple accounts and paperwork efficiently.
- Basic understanding of battery technology, including lead‑acid and emerging lithium‑ion systems for electric vehicles.
- Proficiency with MS Office or similar tools for reporting and data analysis.
