Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) to join our dynamic team of educators at a respected Islamic learning institution. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging IPA lessons that align with national standards and the institution’s religious framework.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and practical laboratory activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, exams, projects, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects, especially linking science concepts with moral and ethical discussions.
- Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum review sessions, and professional development workshops.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress in the school’s management system.
- Offer extra‑curricular support such as science clubs, exhibition preparations, and mentorship programs.
- For Madin teachers: Conduct lessons on classical texts (kitab kuning), teach Arabic grammar (nahwu‑shorof), and provide guidance on Quranic studies.
- Uphold institutional policies, demonstrate loyalty, and serve as a role model for students and the wider community.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s (S1) or Master’s (S2) degree in Education, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related science field.
- Preferred graduates from public universities (PTN) with a strong academic record.
- No prior employment with competing educational institutions.
- Demonstrated loyalty and willingness to adhere to the organization’s regulations and values.
- For Madin positions: Ability to read and interpret kitab kuning, mastery of Arabic grammar (nahwu‑shorof), and at least five years of pesantren (Islamic boarding school) education.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English is highly desirable to facilitate bilingual instruction and communication.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Organizational competence, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
- Open to working Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
