Introduction

DW Bakery, a leading name in Indonesia’s fast‑growing pastry and bakery market, is seeking an experienced Koki Pastry Senior to join our dynamic production team. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and will be instrumental in maintaining DW Bakery’s reputation for excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts following DW Bakery’s standard recipes and quality guidelines.
  • Develop and test new product concepts, incorporating current market trends and seasonal ingredients to keep the menu fresh and competitive.
  • Monitor production schedules, ensuring that output meets daily demand while minimizing waste and maintaining strict food safety standards.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and skill development.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, manage raw material ordering, and coordinate with suppliers to guarantee the availability of high‑quality ingredients.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to avoid production downtime.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement or new product launches.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event organizers, and local community partners to support bulk orders and special events.
  • Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting internal audits and corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create appealing visual presentations and promotional materials for new pastry lines.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen; hospitality industry experience is a strong plus.
  • Proven knowledge of pastry and bakery production techniques, including dough handling, cake decorating, and dessert plating.
  • Excellent personality traits: positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Understanding of local market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior within the F&B sector.
  • Effective communication skills for building relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and community stakeholders.
  • Gender: open to all genders.
  • Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking and production reporting.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or special event shifts as required.
