We are seeking a dynamic Kepala Shift to lead our shift team, ensure smooth daily operations, and uphold the highest standards of service quality. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a solid foundation in logistics, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to motivate a diverse crew in a fast‑paced environment. This role is pivotal for coordinating courier activities, managing warehouse flow, and guaranteeing that every parcel reaches its destination on time.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily schedules for courier pick‑up and delivery operations, optimizing routes and resource allocation.
- Supervise the end‑to‑end shipment process, from goods receipt to final delivery, ensuring compliance with company SOPs.
- Define and adjust delivery zones based on volume trends, traffic patterns, and customer demand.
- Oversee inbound and outbound goods movement, coordinating closely with 3PL partners and external couriers.
- Manage the sorting and distribution workflow, guaranteeing accurate segregation of parcels and minimizing handling errors.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery rate, order accuracy, and warehouse throughput, and initiate corrective actions when needed.
- Conduct regular shift briefings to communicate priorities, safety protocols, and performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations, performing spot checks and reporting incidents.
- Collaborate with the central operations team to implement process improvements and adopt new technologies.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to shift staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; diploma or bachelor’s degree in any field is a plus.
- 1–2 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and last‑mile delivery processes.
- Ability to work flexible shift schedules, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 09:30‑18:30).
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Renah Pembarap, Kab. Merangin, Jambi.
- Excellent analytical skills for performance monitoring and problem‑solving.
- Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Proficiency with logistics management software and Microsoft Office suite.
