The position offers a full‑time schedule, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and is based on a contract employment model.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, providing knowledgeable advice on food, accessories, and health products for dogs and cats.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor that meets O’Petshop’s brand standards.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the store’s Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system and handle cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure popular items are always available.
- Offer basic animal care guidance, such as feeding schedules, grooming tips, and safe handling techniques, while always directing complex health concerns to the in‑store veterinarian partner.
- Participate in regular product training sessions to stay up‑to‑date on new arrivals, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media, ensuring a prompt and courteous response.
- Support store events such as adoption drives, pet‑care workshops, and loyalty program launches.
- Maintain accurate records in the Store Management System, including sales reports, stock adjustments, and customer feedback.
- Uphold safety and hygiene standards, especially when handling live animals, cleaning cages, and managing waste.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 25 years.
- Single status (unmarried) preferred to ensure flexible scheduling.
