Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day activities of our bustling dining outlet. This position is critical to delivering a seamless guest experience, maintaining operational excellence, and driving profitability in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive chef, front‑of‑house team, and corporate support functions to ensure that every aspect of the restaurant runs smoothly, from the kitchen floor to the dining room.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all operational activities, ensuring that service standards, food quality, and hygiene protocols exceed industry benchmarks.
  • Develop weekly and monthly staff schedules, manage shift rotations, and ensure adequate coverage during peak periods, weekends, and holidays.
  • Control inventory levels by overseeing purchasing, receiving, and stock rotation; conduct regular audits to minimize waste and pilferage.
  • Monitor financial performance, including labor costs, food and beverage cost percentages, and daily sales reports; implement corrective actions to meet budget targets.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training programs for front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff, fostering a culture of hospitality and teamwork.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism, turning challenges into opportunities for service improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations; conduct routine inspections and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events, menu launches, and seasonal promotions that drive foot traffic.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment, overseeing the upkeep of dining areas, kitchen spaces, and service stations.
  • Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Diploma) in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) is acceptable for entry‑level positions.
  • At least 1 – 2 years of proven experience in a similar operational role within a hotel or restaurant setting. Fresh graduates may be considered for a Daily Worker position with a clear career progression path.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front‑of‑house service, kitchen workflow, inventory control, and cost management.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine hospitality mindset, with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting the brand’s standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, adapting to shifting priorities and high‑pressure situations.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • High level of discipline, integrity, and accountability.
