Bina Artha Ventura, a leading micro‑finance institution in Sumatra, is expanding its field operations and seeks enthusiastic individuals to join as Petugas Lapangan – Account Officer (Penempatan Domisili) Tarutung. This role is centered on empowering low‑to‑middle‑income women entrepreneurs, helping them launch or grow their small businesses through tailored financing solutions. The position offers a dynamic, community‑focused environment where you will act as the bridge between the company’s financial products and the grassroots market.
Applicants will be invited to complete a short online form (bit.ly/Sumutpelamarbav) and will undergo a two‑stage interview process (HR interview followed by a user interview). The recruitment process is free of charge.
Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit potential partners, primarily women from low‑to‑middle‑income groups, who are interested in starting or expanding a micro‑enterprise.
- Organize and facilitate the formation of productive groups, typically comprising ten (10) women, to foster peer support and collective bargaining power.
- Conduct thorough credit assessments and disburse micro‑loans, ensuring compliance with PT. Bina Artha Ventura’s risk management policies.
- Provide ongoing coaching and business development guidance, covering topics such as inventory management, cash flow planning, marketing tactics, and customer service excellence.
- Maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with each partner, acting as their primary point of contact for queries, challenges, and performance reviews.
- Collect loan repayments on a bi‑weekly schedule, coordinating group meetings, issuing receipts, and updating the loan management system in a timely manner.
- Prepare regular field reports, including portfolio health, repayment status, and emerging market trends, to support senior management decisions.
- Participate in community outreach events, financial literacy workshops, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and attract new clientele.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- All genders are welcome.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates with strong interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Marketing mindset with the ability to persuade and motivate prospective partners.
- Problem‑solving skills to address challenges faced by micro‑entrepreneurs.
- Basic numeracy and comfort using mobile or web‑based loan management tools.
- Willingness to work on-site in Tarutung, Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
