As a Business Partner you will be the front‑line ambassador of Amartha’s inclusive financing programs, responsible for discovering new partner prospects, providing household economic support, and ensuring the smooth repayment of micro‑loans. This full‑time, office‑plus‑field role offers a dynamic blend of community outreach, sales, and financial analysis, ideal for candidates who thrive on interaction, problem‑solving, and making a tangible impact on local livelihoods.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential micro‑entrepreneur partners through door‑to‑door visits, community events, and local networking.
- Conduct comprehensive economic assessments of household members to determine eligibility and tailor financing solutions.
- Perform feasibility surveys and analyze loan applications in line with Amartha’s risk policies, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Guide new partners through the onboarding process, explaining program benefits, repayment schedules, and financial literacy concepts.
- Monitor repayment performance, proactively address delinquency risks, and coordinate with the credit team to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate field reports, update the CRM system, and provide weekly performance summaries to regional supervisors.
- Collaborate with local officials, NGOs, and community leaders to strengthen Amartha’s presence and reputation in the assigned territories.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on product updates, compliance changes, and best practices in community‑based lending.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; any major is acceptable.
- Age: up to 30 years old (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- Own a motorcycle and hold a valid SIM C driving licence.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to build trust with diverse households.
- Resilience and toughness to work in remote, often challenging environments.
- Open to candidates with or without prior experience in sales, micro‑finance, or community outreach.
- Willingness to be stationed in one of the following locations: Sanggau Kapuas, Sekadau, Sekayam, Tayan, Parindu, or Ngabang.
