Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Senior Accounting Assistant – Finance Support to join our growing finance team. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate tax compliance, timely reporting, and seamless interaction with tax authorities. Responsibilities
- Calculate, remit, and report monthly and annual taxes, including PPh 21, 22, 23, 25, 4(2), and PPN, ensuring full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
- Manage outgoing and incoming tax invoices using the e‑Faktur system, verifying data accuracy and maintaining organized records.
- Prepare e‑Billing documents, reconcile tax data with accounting ledgers, and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Draft and submit SPT Masa and SPT Tahunan reports, collaborating with senior accountants to validate figures.
- Stay current with the latest tax laws and amendments, interpreting changes and advising the finance team on necessary procedural updates.
- Utilize Accurate accounting software to post tax entries, generate supporting schedules, and produce financial summaries.
- Generate periodic tax performance dashboards for management review, highlighting trends and potential risk areas.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation, explanations, and supporting calculations.
- Offer training and guidance to junior staff on e‑tax tools, Excel best practices, and proper documentation procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data, adhering to company policies and professional ethical standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in tax compliance and reporting.
- Professional certification such as Brevet A & B (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency with e‑SPT, e‑Faktur, and Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP).
- Experience using Accurate accounting software or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and a high degree of honesty and responsibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary finance team.
