Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Cashier – Customer Service & Transaction Specialist to join our dynamic team in the fast‑paced Food & Beverage (F&B) sector. This front‑line position is critical to delivering an excellent guest experience, ensuring accurate transaction processing, and supporting overall store operations. The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a shift‑based environment while maintaining a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Process all customer orders and payments efficiently using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit cards, and digital wallets with precision.
  • Provide courteous and responsive service, answering questions about menu items, promotions, and store policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked cashier station, including receipt paper, pens, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered on time.
  • Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, preparing deposits and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties such as counting cash drawers, restocking supplies, and sanitizing work areas.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or suggest complementary products, contributing to increased average ticket size.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly, escalating to a supervisor when necessary while maintaining a calm demeanor.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations applicable to the F&B environment.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with new menu items, POS updates, and service standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • All genders are welcome to apply.
  • Professional, neat appearance with strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and willingness to work rotating shifts, including Saturdays.
  • Prior experience in the F&B industry is a plus but not mandatory; a quick learner with a customer‑service mindset will thrive.
  • Basic proficiency with cash‑handling and POS systems; familiarity with “Sistem Kasir” is advantageous.
  • Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
