Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and line cooks with basic food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain strict sanitation protocols by cleaning workstations, equipment, floors, and storage areas according to local health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils, and pantry items, reporting shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
- Support the set‑up and breakdown of cooking stations for each shift, ensuring all tools are organized and readily available.
- Assist in the proper disposal of waste, recycling materials, and food leftovers in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Uphold personal and workplace hygiene standards, including regular hand washing, wearing appropriate protective gear, and maintaining a neat appearance.
- Communicate effectively with team members, reporting any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or supply issues promptly.
- Participate in routine inspections and audits, helping the kitchen achieve and retain certification for food safety and cleanliness.
- Provide backup support during peak service periods, stepping in to perform additional tasks as needed to keep service flowing.
- Demonstrate a commitment to religious observances by maintaining a clean and respectful environment for prayer and other mandatory practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; additional D1 or S1 qualifications are a plus.
- Female candidates only, as per the specific operational needs of the facility.
- Age: Open to fresh graduates; no upper age limit specified.
- Basic experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting, or a strong willingness to learn culinary and sanitation skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to follow instructions and convey information clearly.
- Good physical health and stamina to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and handle fast‑paced kitchen work.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
