Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Field Data Collection Officer to join our operations team in the beautiful region of Tabanan, Bali. This role is critical for maintaining accurate debtor records, ensuring timely communications, and supporting our financial recovery efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for on‑site visits, delivering official notices, and negotiating payment solutions with borrowers who have overdue obligations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits to debtor locations throughout Bali, delivering Surat Peringatan (Warning Letters) to accounts with arrears exceeding 20 days.
- Validate the debtor’s current situation, perform on‑site analysis, and assess the feasibility of repayment.
- Negotiate tailored payment options that align with the debtor’s capacity while protecting the company’s interests.
- Monitor agreed‑upon payment schedules, follow up on promises, and initiate further collection actions when necessary.
- Locate and contact borrowers who cannot be reached at their registered address or workplace, employing investigative techniques while respecting privacy regulations.
- Verify and update all customer data, ensuring phone numbers, addresses, and contact details are accurate and current.
- Document every interaction, including visit outcomes, negotiation results, and next steps, in the company’s CRM system.
- Prepare concise reports for supervisors, highlighting challenges, successes, and any required escalations.
- Collaborate with the credit and legal teams to ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company’s reputation during all field interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, age not exceeding 50 years.
- Residency in Bali is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Experience in debt collection, field data gathering, or related customer‑facing roles is preferred, though fresh graduates are welcome.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with CRM or data‑entry software.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and navigate various neighborhoods across Tabanan.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and adherence to confidentiality standards.
- Physical stamina to travel daily and conduct on‑site visits during standard business hours (Monday‑Friday, 09:00‑18:00).
