Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer (Anggota Security) to join our team in Makassar. This full‑time position is ideal for individuals who are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. The role involves vigilant monitoring, rapid response to incidents, and cooperation with local authorities to uphold the highest standards of security.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises, both on foot and by vehicle, to deter unauthorized access and identify potential hazards.
- Monitor surveillance systems, control access points, and verify the credentials of all entrants and visitors.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing clear reports and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring accurate documentation for management review.
- Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and local laws, including crowd control during events or peak hours.
- Perform routine inspections of fire safety equipment, emergency exits, and security hardware, reporting any deficiencies for immediate corrective action.
- Provide assistance and directions to guests, delivering courteous customer service while upholding security protocols.
- Participate in regular training sessions, drills, and briefings to stay current with best practices and emerging security threats.
- Collaborate with fellow security personnel and management to develop proactive risk‑mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Male candidate, maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of professional security experience.
- Active GP (Guard Permit) and KTA (Security Personnel Card) certifications.
- Current domicile in Makassar.
- Minimum height of 170 cm.
- No visible body piercings or tattoos that conflict with company appearance standards.
- Strong observational skills, integrity, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English is a plus.
- Physical fitness to handle extended standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
