Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Account Officer – Collection to join our sales and credit team in Tanjung Pinang, Kepulauan Riau. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, strengthening relationships with both existing and new customers, and ensuring timely collection of receivables. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between the company, its distribution channels, and end‑users, delivering professional service while safeguarding the company’s credit risk.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the company’s product portfolio to existing customers and prospect new accounts across the Tanjung Pinang region.
- Generate sales orders through channel distributors, capture initial customer data, and verify the completeness of all required documentation.
- Prepare and submit credit applications, coordinating with the credit department to ensure compliance with internal underwriting policies.
- Monitor the status of credit applications, providing regular updates to dealers and customers and communicating approval or rejection decisions promptly.
- Inform customers of invoice due dates, payment locations, and any additional collection procedures, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
- Conduct regular follow‑ups on outstanding balances, negotiate repayment plans when necessary, and resolve disputes in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, orders, and collection activities in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales, finance, and logistics teams to streamline order fulfillment and improve cash‑flow cycles.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and recommend product enhancements.
- Participate in weekly performance meetings, presenting key metrics such as order volume, credit approval rates, and collection efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (all majors) – fresh graduates are welcome.
- Age: not older than 30 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar sales‑collection or credit‑officer role; experience in B2C sales is a strong advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation ability.
- High level of integrity, diligence, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Self‑motivated, resilient, and able to work independently while meeting strict deadlines.
- Possession of a personal vehicle and a valid, active SIM A/C.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, with placement based on domicile.
