Introduction

The Area Sales Project Coordinator is a pivotal role within our dynamic sales organization, responsible for driving growth of premium water‑heater solutions across key markets in Sumatra and the surrounding islands. Based in Medan, the successful candidate will manage a territory that spans Medan, Jambi, Palembang, Batam, and Padang, acting as the primary liaison between our engineering, product, and dealer networks and the end‑users in residential and commercial projects. This position offers a blend of strategic planning, hands‑on project coordination, and relationship building, making it ideal for ambitious professionals eager to shape the future of the building‑material and HVAC sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for water‑heater products targeting residential complexes, hotels, hospitals, and commercial buildings.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive positioning, and new business opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and technical demonstrations to architects, contractors, chief engineers, and key decision‑makers.
  • Manage the full project pipeline—from initial lead qualification, through proposal and quotation, to order confirmation and post‑installation support.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules while ensuring compliance with company policies and profitability targets.
  • Build and nurture long‑term relationships with dealers, consultants, contractors, and architectural firms, fostering brand loyalty and repeat business.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering, logistics, and after‑sales teams to guarantee seamless project execution and timely resolution of any technical issues.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and pipeline updates for senior management review.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, seminars, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and expand professional networks.
  • Maintain an active personal vehicle and a valid SIM C, enabling frequent travel across the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 in Marketing, Business Management, or a technical field such as Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in Sales Project or Business Development roles within the Building Materials or HVAC industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, and achieve sales targets in a solution‑oriented manner.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence in front of large professional audiences.
  • Track record of building and maintaining long‑term relationships with architects, contractors, and chief engineers; an existing network in these circles is a distinct advantage.
  • Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) and personal motor vehicle for regional travel.
  • Male candidates are preferred as per the current hiring policy.
  • Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:30, with occasional travel outside standard hours for project milestones.
