Introduction
Jombang Raya, a dynamic logistics hub located in Tangerang Selatan, is seeking diligent and reliable individuals for the dual role of Picker and Packer. This position is essential to the smooth flow of goods from the warehouse floor to the delivery drivers, ensuring that every order is processed accurately and on time. Responsibilities
The role combines two critical functions within our fulfillment center. Candidates will be expected to master both picking and packing processes, as outlined below.
- Picker Duties
- Monitor new orders in the warehouse management system and prioritize them based on delivery schedules.
- Print and verify inventory (INV) orders to ensure the correct items are selected.
- Locate and retrieve items from storage locations, adhering to picking routes that maximize efficiency.
- Confirm item quantities and condition before moving them to the packing area.
- Communicate any stock discrepancies or out‑of‑stock situations to the supervisor promptly.
- Packer Duties
- Scan barcodes on each item and match them to the printed order sheet to guarantee order integrity.
- Package items following company standards, including proper cushioning, labeling, and sealing.
- Prepare shipment documentation and attach it to the package.
- Initiate driver dispatch through the system, sending real‑time notifications (or “tembak order”) to the assigned driver.
- Load packed orders into the driver’s bag or pallet, verify the load, and hand over the items to the driver for final delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and the inventory control team to continuously improve workflow.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑35 years old.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational policy).
- No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading order sheets and handling inventory counts.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate loads (up to 20 kg) throughout an 8‑hour shift.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with drivers, supervisors, and team members.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a willingness to work the scheduled hours of 08:00‑17:00.
