Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, and communicate special requests to the kitchen staff.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation and adherence to Way Halim’s quality standards.
- Monitor tables throughout the dining experience, respond to guest inquiries, and address any concerns or complaints swiftly and courteously.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to coordinate order timing, handle rush periods, and maintain smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing cutlery, and ensuring proper sanitation practices.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash or electronic transactions with accuracy.
- Assist in inventory checks for napkins, condiments, and other service supplies, notifying supervisors of any shortages.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, promotional offers, and safety protocols.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with local regulations and Way Halim’s internal policies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent; SMA/SMK or equivalent is preferred.
- Age: Up to 30 years old.

- Prior experience in F&B, especially in a similar service role, is considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; a friendly, service‑oriented demeanor.

- Strong desire to learn, develop new skills, and grow within the hospitality sector.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends (Monday – Sunday) and shifts from 09:30 to 21:00.
- Basic coordination skills for handling food and beverage service in a restaurant setting.
