We are seeking a dedicated Guru Diniyah (Pengajar Pendidikan Agama Islam) to join our vibrant educational community. This role is pivotal in shaping the spiritual and moral foundation of our students while delivering high‑quality Islamic studies in accordance with traditional Salafist methodology. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and curriculum‑aligned Islamic education to primary and secondary students, covering Qur’an recitation, tafsir, hadith studies, akhlak, and Islamic history.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that reflect Salafist principles and modern pedagogical best practices.
- Conduct regular formative and summative evaluations to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages critical thinking, spiritual reflection, and character building.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and parents to support student development and address any academic or behavioral concerns.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, curriculum development workshops, and professional development training sessions.
- Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting Islamic values such as honesty, humility, and service within the school community.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and extracurricular activities, ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as Quran memorization clubs, religious seminars, and community outreach programs.
- Continuously update personal knowledge of Islamic scholarship and contemporary educational techniques through self‑study and formal training.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Islamic Education, Religious Studies, or a related field.
- Demonstrated adherence to the Salafist madhhab (Bermanhaj Salaf) and a lifestyle free of smoking.
- Strong command of Arabic language and the ability to teach Qur’anic Arabic and classical texts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage students of diverse backgrounds.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to nurturing both the intellectual and spiritual growth of learners.
- Basic computer literacy for preparing digital teaching aids and maintaining electronic records.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional participation in after‑school events.
