Introduction

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista Profesional to join our vibrant coffeehouse team. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, delivering high‑quality drinks while upholding our brand’s commitment to excellence and community.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve espresso‑based drinks, manual‑brew coffees, and specialty beverages with consistent taste and presentation.
  • Execute latte art techniques when applicable, enhancing the visual appeal of each cup.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station, adhering to food‑safety standards and local health regulations.
  • Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables; notify management of low stock and assist with receiving deliveries.
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers, offering recommendations on coffee origins, brewing methods, and food pairings.
  • Handle cash registers, process electronic payments, and accurately record sales transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions, cover peak‑hour demands, and support fellow staff during busy periods.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on new menu items, equipment maintenance, and emerging coffee trends.
  • Contribute ideas for menu innovation, seasonal promotions, and community events to keep the coffeehouse dynamic and engaging.
  • Uphold brand standards for appearance, punctuality, and professional conduct at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a barista or in the broader Food & Beverage (F&B) industry.
  • Strong grasp of manual‑brew techniques (pour‑over, AeroPress, French press) and espresso machine operation; latte‑art skills are a distinct advantage.
  • Clean, neat appearance with a personal commitment to hygiene.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Disciplined work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and occasional evenings.
  • Comfortable thriving in a dynamic, high‑traffic environment.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for coffee culture, lifestyle trends, or pop‑culture references, which helps build rapport with our diverse clientele.
  • Team‑player mindset with a willingness to assist colleagues and share knowledge.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
