Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cook to join our dynamic Hospitality Services team, serving multiple locations in the Greater Jakarta area, including Bintaro and Central Jakarta. This role is ideal for culinary professionals who are passionate about creating high‑quality Indonesian, Asian, and Western dishes while maintaining the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a diverse menu that includes Indonesian classics, popular Asian specialties, and Western cuisine, ensuring flavor consistency and presentation excellence.
- Expertly operate kitchen equipment, with a particular focus on wok techniques, knife skills, and efficient batch cooking.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and receive deliveries to guarantee that all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and available for daily service.
- Maintain a spotless and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to strict food‑safety protocols and local health regulations.
- Collaborate with junior kitchen staff, providing mentorship, training, and on‑the‑job coaching to elevate overall team performance.
- Assist in menu development and seasonal recipe testing, contributing creative ideas that reflect current market trends and customer preferences.
- Ensure timely food preparation and service during peak hours, optimizing workflow to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Participate in regular safety briefings, conduct equipment inspections, and promptly report any hazards or maintenance needs.
- Adapt to flexible shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as operational demands require.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK with a focus on Culinary Arts (Tata Boga) or Hospitality management.
- At least 1 year of professional cooking experience in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting.
- Proven ability to prepare a wide range of Indonesian, Asian, and Western dishes with consistency and creativity.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in wok cooking techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of food‑safety standards, HACCP principles, and sanitation practices.
- High level of personal initiative, efficiency, and accountability in all assigned tasks.
- Effective time‑management and ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts; willingness to be placed at any branch based on residential location.
