Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Professional Kitchen Operations Specialist to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is pivotal in delivering authentic Indonesian cuisine while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, efficiency, and team collaboration. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen activities, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Coordinate with sous‑chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants to manage workflow during peak service periods (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards, conducting regular inspections of workstations, utensils, and storage areas.
- Operate and troubleshoot kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Develop and update inventory lists, monitor stock levels, and place orders for fresh produce, spices, and other essential ingredients.
- Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, portion control, and safety protocols, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the front‑of‑house team to ensure timely service, accurate order fulfillment, and exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist in menu development by contributing ideas for new dishes that highlight regional Indonesian flavors while staying cost‑effective.
- Document daily production reports, waste logs, and any incidents, providing insights to management for operational enhancements.
- Uphold the company’s brand image by maintaining a clean, organized, and professional appearance at all times.
Requirements
- Male candidates only (as per company policy).
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 0 years of experience in the FnB sector, with a strong focus on traditional Indonesian cuisine.
- Proven experience working in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a high‑volume restaurant or hotel.
- Excellent communication skills; friendly, approachable, and able to work effectively within a team.
- Professional demeanor with a clean, tidy appearance; adherence to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
- Ability to operate, maintain, and safely handle kitchen equipment and tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work six days a week (Monday to Saturday) with the ability to adapt to shifting service demands.
