Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Pengawas Lapangan Proyek Konstruksi to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily site activities, ensuring that projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse infrastructure projects across the Sedo and Demak regions while gaining valuable experience in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on‑site construction activities, including concrete works, masonry, steel reinforcement, and finishing trades.
- Monitor progress against the project schedule, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to keep work on track.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, conduct regular toolbox talks, and enforce the use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, material usage reports, and labor attendance records.
- Collaborate closely with project engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve design conflicts and technical issues.
- Conduct regular quality inspections, verify that workmanship meets the specified standards, and prepare punch‑list items for completion.
- Manage the allocation of resources, including equipment, tools, and manpower, to maximize productivity.
- Facilitate effective communication between the field crew and the office team, reporting progress and any deviations promptly.
- Participate in shift rotations as required and be prepared to work overtime during critical project phases.
- Attend mandatory training sessions in Pasuruan, Jawa Timur, to stay current with the latest construction methods and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Age: maximum 30 years.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience as a site supervisor or foreman in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of building management systems and construction best practices.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and to lead crews effectively.
- High level of honesty, diligence, discipline, and agility in problem‑solving.
- Willingness to work shifts, including occasional weekend days (Monday‑Saturday schedule, 08:00‑17:00).
- Readiness to travel for training in Pasuruan, Jawa Timur, and to be stationed at project sites in Sedo and Demak.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English is a plus.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of a construction environment.
