Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting outreach in local markets, community events, and neighborhood visits.
- Provide economic counseling and ongoing support to existing members, assisting them in managing household finances and business operations.
- Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk standards, and documentation requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports on borrower eligibility, repayment capacity, and collateral evaluation for internal review.
- Coordinate and execute the collection process for overdue repayments, maintaining respectful yet firm communication with borrowers.
- Collaborate with the central underwriting team to relay field insights, market trends, and feedback that can improve product offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of all field activities using Amartha’s digital tools, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
- Participate in regular training sessions and community workshops to stay current on financial products, regulatory changes, and best practices in micro‑finance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18 – 33 years (maximum 33 years for this role).
- Gender: Open to all genders; preference may be given to female candidates for community outreach.
- Own a reliable motorized vehicle to travel across the Serang region daily.
- Strong integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work habits.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Resilience and adaptability to work in various field conditions, including remote villages.
- Basic digital literacy for using mobile applications and data entry tools.
- No prior experience required; however, previous exposure to sales, community work, or financial services is a plus.
