Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new potential borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, attending local events, and leveraging community networks.
  • Provide comprehensive economic counseling to household members, helping them understand loan terms, repayment schedules, and financial management best practices.
  • Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk‑assessment frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for each prospect, including credit assessments, income verification, and collateral evaluation.
  • Coordinate the collection of repayments, follow up on overdue accounts, and negotiate repayment plans while maintaining a respectful and supportive relationship with borrowers.
  • Collaborate with the central operations team to update the digital loan management system, ensuring data accuracy and real‑time visibility of field activities.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, performance reviews, and community feedback meetings to continuously improve service quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized mess (staff housing) and adhere to health, safety, and security protocols while working in the field.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age range: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years for senior candidates).
  • Gender: Open to all, with a preference for female candidates to align with community engagement strategies.
  • Possession of a personal motorbike or car for daily field travel.
  • Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, resilience, and disciplined work habits.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and travel throughout the Bandung Barat area on a full‑time basis (Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00).
  • No prior experience required; however, prior exposure to sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is a plus.
  • Basic digital literacy for using Amartha’s loan application platform and reporting tools.
