Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and handle all monetary transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and electronic payments.
- Provide friendly, efficient service to customers, answering product questions and addressing concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that merchandise displays are tidy and promotional materials are up‑to‑date.
- Process sales returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies while preserving customer satisfaction.
- Assist in inventory control by scanning items, reporting discrepancies, and restocking shelves during quieter periods.
- Collaborate with sales floor staff to promote upselling and cross‑selling opportunities, helping to meet daily sales targets.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, preparing reports for management review.
- Adhere to all company security and loss‑prevention procedures, including monitoring for suspicious activities.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on product knowledge, POS system upgrades, and customer service best practices.
- Support special events and promotional campaigns by handling increased traffic and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age requirement: 22–25 years old; all genders are welcome.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a cash handling or retail environment; additional experience is considered a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work hard, stay agile, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong sense of honesty, discipline, and responsibility.
- Professional appearance: neat, clean, and presentable at all times.
- Resident of Banda Aceh or Aceh Besar, with reliable transportation to the workplace.
- Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) systems and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‑focused mindset.
- Ability to work the scheduled shift: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
