Introduction
We are seeking a reliable Parking Field Officer (Petugas Lapangan Parkir) to join our operations team in Samarinda. This role is essential for ensuring smooth traffic flow, maintaining safety standards, and providing excellent service to visitors and employees at our facility. Responsibilities
- Manage the entry and exit of vehicles, directing drivers to appropriate parking zones and ensuring orderly traffic movement.
- Monitor parking lot capacity, enforce parking regulations, and issue tickets or warnings when necessary.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as barriers, ticket dispensers, and a forklift for handling pallets or small cargo within the parking area.
- Conduct regular inspections of the parking facility to identify safety hazards, report maintenance issues, and coordinate repairs with the facilities team.
- Provide courteous assistance to visitors, answering inquiries, and offering guidance on site navigation.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle logs, daily occupancy, and any incidents that occur on site.
- Collaborate with security personnel and other department staff to support emergency response procedures.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation for any parking fees collected and prepare reports for management.
- Uphold company policies regarding confidentiality, honesty, and accountability at all times.
- Adapt to high‑pressure situations, such as peak traffic periods or unexpected events, while maintaining composure and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, age 35 years or younger.
- No prior experience required, though experience in parking management or customer service is a plus.
- Professional and well‑groomed appearance.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Honest, responsible, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to perform under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of forklift operation and a valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
