Introduction
The Club Lounge Waiter – Daily Shift is a pivotal front‑of‑house role within our upscale hospitality venue, serving discerning guests who expect impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere. Working Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00, you will be the first point of contact for lounge patrons, ensuring their experience is seamless from arrival to departure. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about hospitality, possess a strong work ethic, and enjoy interacting with a diverse clientele in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their seats, and present the lounge’s menu and daily specials.
- Take beverage and food orders accurately, offering recommendations based on guests’ preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, cocktails, and specialty drinks, adhering to brand standards.
- Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation guidelines.
- Monitor the lounge floor, promptly clearing tables, resetting for new guests, and ensuring a tidy, organized environment.
- Handle cash and electronic payments, process receipts, and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests.
- Observe and enforce alcohol service policies, checking identification when required and complying with local regulations.
- Respond to guest feedback and resolve minor issues on the spot, escalating more complex concerns to the supervisor.
- Participate in daily briefings, share observations, and contribute ideas for improving service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a graduate of a hotel vocational school or related field is preferred.
- Age: Open to all candidates; no maximum age limit.

- Fluent in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia; basic proficiency in English is required, with additional languages considered an advantage.
- Fundamental understanding of restaurant administration, point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, and daily operational procedures.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage products, including menu composition, wine, spirits, and non‑alcoholic offerings.
- Familiarity with local alcohol policies and responsible service laws.
- Excellent customer‑service orientation, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and personalize service.
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or supplies as needed.
