Introduction
The Collector Penagihan Cabang Banjar is a vital role within our client’s regional banking operation, responsible for safeguarding the financial health of the portfolio by ensuring timely repayment of credit installments. This full‑time position is based in Banjar and operates from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00. The ideal candidate will combine a strong sense of accountability with excellent interpersonal skills, enabling them to build trust‑based relationships with borrowers while meeting strict collection targets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive outreach to customers who have overdue credit installments, using phone calls, SMS, and in‑person visits.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of each collection interaction, updating the bank’s CRM system in real time.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly collection reports that highlight payment status, challenges encountered, and suggested mitigation strategies.
- Negotiate repayment plans that are realistic for borrowers yet align with the bank’s risk‑management policies.
- Educate customers on their contractual obligations, the consequences of default, and available financial counseling resources.
- Collaborate closely with the branch’s loan officers, credit analysts, and legal team to streamline the recovery process.
- Perform regular field visits to high‑risk accounts, documenting observations and assessing the feasibility of on‑site resolution.
- Support the development of preventive measures by providing feedback on recurring payment issues and suggesting improvements to credit underwriting practices.
Requirements

- Education: Minimum D3/SL in any field; SMA/SMK or equivalent is also acceptable.
- Experience: Prior experience in banking marketing, loan collection, or related financial services (preferred but not mandatory).
- Essential skills:

- Effective negotiation and conflict‑resolution techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with diverse customers.
- Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines.
- Transportation: Own vehicle and a valid SIM C/A (motorcycle or car) are required for field visits.
