Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and categorize incoming laundry loads based on fabric type, color, and care instructions.
- Operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre‑treatment of stains, select appropriate detergents, and monitor cycle settings to optimize cleaning results.
- Inspect cleaned items for quality, ensuring they meet company standards before folding or packaging.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of linens, uniforms, and cleaning supplies, and report low stock levels to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, hospitality, and other departments to schedule pickup and delivery of laundry batches.
- Ensure all work areas are kept tidy, organized, and free from hazards, adhering to occupational health and safety guidelines.
- Document daily production metrics, such as total weight processed, cycle times, and any equipment issues.
- Assist in routine maintenance of laundry equipment, including cleaning filters, checking hoses, and reporting malfunctions promptly.
- Provide courteous and professional communication with internal clients, addressing any special requests or concerns.
Requirements
- Female candidates aged 20‑35 years (all genders welcome for similar roles).
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Clean, presentable appearance and ability to maintain personal hygiene standards.
- Honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Quick, meticulous work habits with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues during peak periods.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly, polite, and able to communicate clearly.
- Not currently enrolled in college or employed elsewhere, ensuring full availability for the shift schedule.
- Basic understanding of laundry processes and a willingness to learn advanced equipment operation.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting (e.g., baskets of laundry).
