Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Litigation Asset Recovery Specialist to join our legal team at our Kotamobagu branch. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing both criminal and civil matters, ensuring that our assets are protected and recovered efficiently. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will collaborate closely with senior litigation leaders, engage with clients and counterparties, and contribute to the development of robust legal strategies that align with the company’s risk‑management objectives.
Responsibilities
- Handle and manage a diverse portfolio of criminal and civil cases, from initial intake through final resolution, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate regularly with the Litigation Head Office to discuss case progress, identify obstacles, and receive strategic guidance and legal opinions.
- Draft and serve formal demand letters (somasi) to consumers or third parties, clearly outlining legal consequences for non‑compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive case reports that compare actual expenditures against allocated budgets, highlighting variances and recommending cost‑saving measures.
- Conduct training sessions for branch PICs (Person In Charge) on emerging legal issues, procedural updates, and best practices in asset recovery.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case files, evidence logs, and correspondence to support litigation readiness and audit requirements.
- Travel as needed for out‑of‑city investigations, court appearances, and on‑site client meetings while adhering to the company’s travel policies.
- Stay informed about changes in Indonesian financial and commercial law, particularly those affecting asset recovery and debt enforcement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law; candidates who have completed the PKPA program will receive extra consideration.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in legal practice, preferably with exposure to litigation, asset recovery, or financial law.
- Valid personal vehicle and an active SIM A/C driving licence.
- Willingness to be based in Kotamobagu and to undertake occasional out‑of‑city travel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex legal issues and propose actionable solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and, where applicable, English.
- Proficiency in legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Professional demeanor, high ethical standards, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
