Introduction
We are a leading logistics and distribution provider operating throughout Central Sulawesi, and we are expanding our service network in Palu. To support our growing customer base, we are looking for a dedicated Driver Operasional Cabang Palu who can reliably deliver goods, maintain vehicle safety, and coordinate with internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently while upholding our company’s standards of professionalism and safety.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers according to pre‑determined schedules and optimal routes, ensuring on‑time performance.
- Conduct a thorough pre‑trip inspection of the vehicle (oil level, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and required tools) and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Manage and safeguard all shipping documentation, including delivery orders (SJ/DO), return forms, and hand‑over certificates (BAST/TTB).
- Coordinate closely with Sales Support and the Warehouse team to guarantee smooth loading, unloading, and dispatch processes.
- Provide daily delivery reports and return summaries to the Warehouse Administrator, using the company’s digital reporting platform.
- Maintain cleanliness, security, and orderly use of the company‑provided vehicle, adhering to all internal policies.
- Communicate proactively with customers to confirm delivery times, address special instructions, and resolve any on‑site issues.
- Utilize GPS, mapping applications, and the company’s logistics software to track routes, log mileage, and optimize travel efficiency.
- Assist in loading and unloading when required, following safe lifting techniques and K3 (occupational health and safety) guidelines.
Requirements
- Must reside in Palu or its surrounding areas.
- Maximum age of 40 years.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM A/B) with no restrictions.
- At least 2 years of experience as a distribution driver, preferably in a fast‑moving consumer goods or industrial supply environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local delivery routes and willingness to travel to neighboring cities when needed.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo in accordance with company standards and K3 safety regulations.
- Proficiency with navigation tools, mobile reporting apps, and basic computer literacy.
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills, team orientation, and a customer‑focused mindset.
