Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging English lessons that incorporate Gorontalo linguistic nuances and cultural references.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and multimedia resources aligned with the institute’s curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, oral examinations, and project‑based evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
- Facilitate classroom discussions that improve learners’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while encouraging confidence in using English in real‑world contexts.
- Organize extracurricular activities such as language clubs, debate sessions, and cultural exchange events to deepen students’ appreciation of both English and Gorontalo heritage.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to share best practices, develop cross‑subject projects, and maintain a cohesive teaching environment.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, grading sheets, and reports for administrative review.
- Uphold the institute’s code of conduct by modeling integrity, honesty, and respect for all students and staff.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in English Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Age: Between 18 and 50 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome; however, candidates with prior teaching experience—especially those who have taught at the SMA or pesantren level—will be given priority.
- Language Skills: Native‑level proficiency in English and fluent command of the Gorontalo language.
- Core Competencies: Strong communication abilities, patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for education.
- Personal Qualities: Honest, trustworthy, disciplined, and fully compliant with institutional policies and regulations.
