Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (Physical Education, Sports, and Health Teacher) to join our growing educational institution. Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and deliver comprehensive Physical Education (PE) curricula that align with national standards and support holistic student health.
- Organize and supervise a variety of sports, games, and fitness activities, ensuring safety, inclusivity, and engagement for all age groups.
- Assess student performance through practical evaluations, written tests, and observational feedback, providing constructive guidance for improvement.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate health education topics—such as nutrition, mental well‑being, and injury prevention—into broader learning objectives.
- Maintain equipment inventories, conduct regular inspections, and coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Lead extracurricular sports clubs, inter‑school competitions, and community health events, fostering school spirit and community involvement.
- Prepare lesson plans, weekly schedules, and progress reports, documenting student achievements and areas needing attention.
- Participate in professional development workshops, faculty meetings, and curriculum review sessions to stay current with emerging trends in physical education and health promotion.
- Serve as a role model by demonstrating healthy habits, positive attitudes, and ethical behavior both on and off the field.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) or a related field.
- Gender: Male candidates are preferred in accordance with institutional policy.
- Age: Up to 35 years old (maximum 0 years of prior teaching experience accepted; fresh graduates are welcome).
- Physical and spiritual health: Must be in good physical condition and possess a balanced, positive mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build rapport with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional integrity: Not currently employed by another governmental or private institution.
- Core competencies: Lesson planning, classroom management, sports coaching, health education, and skill development in teaching.
