Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Pengajar Bahasa Arab to join our dynamic high‑school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality Arabic language instruction to senior students, fostering both linguistic proficiency and a deep appreciation of Islamic cultural heritage. Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging Arabic language curricula aligned with national education standards and the Salaf methodology.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and multimedia resources to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Conduct interactive classroom sessions, encouraging student participation, critical thinking, and oral fluency.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, examinations, and project‑based evaluations; provide constructive feedback and personalized tutoring when needed.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Arabic studies with other subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Education.
- Organize extracurricular activities, including Arabic language clubs, debate teams, and cultural events that promote real‑world usage of the language.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, grading logs, and curriculum documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in regular professional development workshops and school meetings to stay current with pedagogical trends.
- Uphold the school’s Islamic values by modeling a non‑smoking lifestyle and adhering to the Bermanhaj Salaf approach.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field; a high school diploma (SMA/K) is acceptable for support roles.
- Strong command of Modern Standard Arabic and classical Arabic, with the ability to teach both reading and writing.
- Demonstrated commitment to the Salaf methodology and a lifestyle consistent with Islamic principles (non‑smoker).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage students of all genders.
- Passion for teaching, with at least 0‑2 years of relevant experience or a clear willingness to develop teaching competencies.
- Proficiency in classroom management, lesson planning, and the use of digital learning tools.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Saturday schedule and adapt to evolving educational needs.
