Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Koordinator Promosi Penjualan to join our dynamic sales team in Sampit. This role focuses on driving product awareness, maintaining optimal in‑store presentation, and achieving sales targets within the consumer goods sector. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with a passion for sales and marketing, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide product education and consultative support to customers, ensuring they understand the features, benefits, and proper usage of each item.
- Maintain store displays, merchandising fixtures, and promotional equipment in pristine, organized condition, conducting regular checks for cleanliness and functionality.
- Develop and nurture positive relationships with store managers, retail staff, and end‑customers, acting as the primary point of contact for any product‑related inquiries.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets set by the company by executing targeted promotion strategies and closing sales opportunities.
- Collect and report market feedback, competitor activities, and consumer trends to the regional sales manager to inform future marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely replenishment of stock and proper placement of promotional materials.
- Prepare daily and weekly activity reports, including sales figures, promotional compliance, and customer insights.
- Participate in periodic training sessions and product launches to stay current on new offerings and best practices.
- Travel within the assigned territory using personal transportation (motorcycle) while adhering to safety and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a background in Chemical Engineering is a plus, but all relevant fields are welcome.
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, promotion, or retail merchandising.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a confident, customer‑focused demeanor.
- Professional appearance, disciplined work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
- Own a reliable motorcycle and hold a valid SIM C driver’s license.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
- Passion for sales and marketing, with a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
- Flexibility to work mobile, covering multiple retail locations across the Sampit area.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
