Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guru Privat Sekolah Dasar (SD) to provide one‑on‑one tutoring for first‑grade students in Sumobito. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive, thematic instruction across all core subjects, fostering a love of learning while supporting each child’s unique educational journey. The ideal candidate will possess a solid academic foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for nurturing young minds in a supportive, home‑based environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, thematic lessons covering Bahasa Indonesia, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Arts for first‑grade students.
- Assess each pupil’s strengths and learning gaps, creating personalized lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and the child’s individual needs.
- Utilize interactive teaching aids, visual materials, and age‑appropriate activities to reinforce concepts and maintain student interest.
- Provide constructive feedback to parents after each session, outlining progress, challenges, and recommendations for continued support.
- Maintain a consistent schedule—Monday through Thursday, 15:00–16:00—and ensure punctuality and preparedness for every tutoring session.
- Monitor and record attendance, lesson outcomes, and any notable behavioural observations in a professional log.
- Collaborate with parents and school teachers to align tutoring objectives with classroom expectations.
- Adapt teaching strategies quickly in response to the child’s evolving needs, learning style, and feedback.
- Promote a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment that builds confidence and curiosity.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Gender: Female (as specified for this position).
- No minimum years of experience required; fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent command of Bahasa Indonesia and basic proficiency in English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with young learners.
