Introduction

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our kitchen team as a Helper Dapur (Casual) at our bustling restaurant in Solo. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will support the culinary staff, ensure smooth kitchen operations, and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences. The role is suitable for both men and women and is open to candidates with a minimum education level of SMA/SMK or an equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs and cooks in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning vegetables, meats, and other items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, workstations, equipment, and utensils in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Receive and store deliveries, check inventory for freshness, and organize stock to minimize waste.
  • Support plating and garnishing of dishes during peak service periods to ensure timely order delivery.
  • Operate basic kitchen machinery such as slicers, mixers, and dishwashers safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor kitchen waste and assist in proper disposal or recycling processes.
  • Collaborate closely with team members, providing assistance wherever needed, whether in a fast‑paced rush or during quieter periods.
  • Respond promptly to any urgent requests from the head chef or floor manager, maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Document any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to help management address issues quickly.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: Applicants up to 35 years old (maximum age limit).
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a kitchen or food‑service environment is preferred, though fresh candidates with strong motivation are welcome.
  • Key Skills:
    • Basic food preparation and handling.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Honesty, reliability, and a sense of responsibility.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Capability to perform well under time constraints and high‑pressure situations.
  • Availability: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
