Introduction

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our dynamic culinary team as a Helper – Kitchen Operations. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent high school graduates or those with a few months of experience who are eager to develop a career in the fast‑paced world of hospitality and food & beverage service. Our restaurant prides itself on delivering high‑quality dishes in a welcoming environment, and we need team members who are disciplined, eager to learn, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs and line cooks with the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and portioning.
  • Operate and maintain basic kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, and fryers safely and efficiently.
  • Support the plating process to ensure dishes are presented according to the restaurant’s standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
  • Receive and store deliveries, checking for quality and proper labeling, and rotate stock to minimize waste.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after each shift.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper hand‑washing, glove use, and temperature monitoring.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen supervisors, front‑of‑house staff, and fellow team members to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve culinary techniques and understand the latest trends in the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, punctuality, and a willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience in a kitchen or related F&B environment.
  • Age: No maximum age limit; we value capability and dedication over age.
  • Core Skills:
    • Basic knowledge of hospitality operations and kitchen workflows.
    • Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely.
    • Strong work ethic, discipline, and reliability.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Positive, drama‑free attitude and a genuine passion for food service.
    • Eagerness to learn new techniques and grow within the industry.
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
