Responsibilities
The Sales Associate will be responsible for a broad range of duties that support both the customer experience and store operations. Typical responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers warmly and identifying their needs to recommend appropriate Klakah products.
- Demonstrating product features, benefits, and proper usage to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintaining an organized and visually appealing sales floor through merchandising, shelf stocking, and regular product rotation.
- Processing transactions accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale system and handling cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and reporting discrepancies to the store manager.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to execute in‑store promotions, special events, and seasonal campaigns.
- Providing after‑sales support, handling returns or exchanges, and resolving customer complaints with professionalism.
- Preparing daily sales reports, tracking performance against targets, and suggesting improvements to increase revenue.
- Adhering to company policies on safety, loss prevention, and store cleanliness.
- Working flexible hours, including Saturdays, to meet the needs of our customers.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will meet the following criteria:
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: Up to 30 years old (maximum 0 years of experience is a typo; we require at least 1 year of relevant experience).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in retail sales, preferably within the children’s goods sector.
- Key Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Honesty, reliability, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable operating under pressure and meeting sales targets.
- Familiarity with store management systems (Sistem Manajemen Toko).
