- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that merchandise displays are tidy and promotional signage is up‑to‑date.
- Assist with inventory management by scanning items, reporting stock discrepancies, and participating in regular stock‑take activities.
- Collaborate with floor staff to resolve customer issues promptly, escalating complex concerns to supervisors when necessary.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security procedures, including regular cash drawer checks and loss‑prevention measures.
- Work flexible shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of a bustling retail environment.
- Uphold the company’s standards of honesty, punctuality, and professional appearance at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with product knowledge, POS upgrades, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Prior experience as a cashier is preferred but not mandatory; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Professional and presentable appearance suitable for a front‑line retail role.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and integrity in handling cash and confidential information.
- Ability to perform the five daily prayers for Muslim candidates, reflecting respect for personal and cultural values.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis, including Saturdays (Monday‑Saturday schedule).
- Basic proficiency with POS software and a willingness to learn new retail technologies.
