Responsibilities

  • Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately, process cash, credit, and electronic payments, and issue receipts.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, ensuring all necessary supplies (bags, receipt paper, promotional flyers) are stocked.
  • Greet customers warmly, answer product inquiries, and provide recommendations to increase sales.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
  • Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in inventory checks, stock replenishment, and shelf organization during quieter periods.
  • Collaborate with sales floor staff to resolve customer issues and ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Follow all health, safety, and security procedures, including loss‑prevention measures.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and new POS features.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer data and adhere to company privacy standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Open to all genders; must be a practicing Muslim.
  • Age: 18 – 25 years old.
  • Strong communication skills and basic arithmetic ability.
  • Either prior retail cash‑handling experience or a willingness to learn (both experienced and fresh candidates are welcome).
  • Not currently employed elsewhere; full availability for the scheduled shift.
  • Willingness to reside in company‑provided mess accommodation.
  • Commitment to a stable, long‑term position – not a “job‑hopping” role.
  • Proficiency with standard POS software; familiarity with retail management systems is a plus.
