Responsibilities

- Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Conduct regular cleaning and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas in compliance with health‑code regulations.
- Support senior chefs and line cooks during peak service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor food quality, temperature, and portion control, reporting any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Participate in daily briefings, providing feedback on workflow, stock levels, and any operational challenges.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including proper handling of knives, hot surfaces, and hazardous materials.
- Maintain a “no drama” workplace by communicating respectfully, resolving conflicts constructively, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA), Vocational School (SMK), or equivalent.

- At least 6 months of hands‑on experience in the F&B sector, preferably within a commercial kitchen.
- Demonstrated good attitude, strong work ethic, and “mental baja” – resilience under pressure.

- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays without concurrent employment elsewhere.
- Honesty, punctuality, and a commitment to taking responsibility for one’s tasks.
- Basic proficiency in operating kitchen appliances and tools.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required.
