Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Layanan Pelanggan Apotek – Penanganan dan Administrasi to join our pharmacy team in Muncar. This role is the frontline of our customer service operation, ensuring that every patient receives courteous, accurate, and timely assistance while also handling essential administrative tasks that keep the pharmacy running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be a friendly, patient‑focused individual who can thrive in a shift‑based environment and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm, respectful attitude, answering inquiries about medication availability, pricing, and usage.
- Process prescription orders, verify patient information, and coordinate with pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing.
- Maintain detailed records of sales, inventory movements, and customer interactions using pharmacy management software.
- Perform routine data entry tasks, including updating patient profiles, insurance verification, and prescription refill requests.
- Handle cash transactions, process electronic payments, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Assist in inventory control by monitoring stock levels, preparing order requisitions, and conducting periodic physical counts.
- Coordinate with suppliers and delivery services to ensure timely receipt of pharmaceutical products.
- Provide education on over‑the‑counter (OTC) products, proper storage, and basic health advice within the scope of the role.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines, including confidentiality of patient data and proper handling of controlled substances.
- Participate in shift handovers, documenting any outstanding issues or special customer needs for the next team.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.

- Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly, patient, and meticulous in handling customer requests.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends, to ensure continuous pharmacy service.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy or retail management systems.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping.
- Ability to communicate clearly in Bahasa Indonesia and, if possible, basic English.
- No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
