Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present a wide range of authentic Indonesian dishes, including nasi goreng, rendang, satay, and regional specialties.
- Develop and update menu items in collaboration with the head chef, ensuring seasonal ingredients and current food trends are incorporated.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
- Manage inventory, conduct daily stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh produce, spices, and kitchen equipment.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and high performance.
- Execute plating and garnishing techniques that enhance visual appeal while maintaining consistency across all service periods.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events, banquet services, and catering orders that feature Indonesian cuisine.
- Operate and maintain kitchen appliances and tools safely, performing routine cleaning and minor troubleshooting as needed.
- Communicate effectively with front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely order delivery and address any guest feedback promptly.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by operational demand.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to candidates of any gender.
- At least 0 years of experience in restaurants, cafés, or pastry shops (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to diverse workplace cultures.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, attractive appearance.
