Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Kolektor Lapangan to join our field collection team covering the Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Gresik areas of East Java. This position is a key component of our credit management operations, ensuring timely recovery of loan installments while maintaining respectful and professional relationships with our valued customers. The role involves regular on‑site visits, thorough analysis of debtor circumstances, and effective negotiation to secure payments in line with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily field visits to assigned customers for the purpose of collecting loan installments, accrued interest, and any applicable penalties.
- Perform on‑site verification of debtor information, assess the financial condition of each client, and document findings accurately.
- Negotiate flexible repayment plans that align with both the debtor’s capacity and the company’s risk management guidelines.
- Accept and process cash, check, or electronic payments, ensuring proper receipt issuance and reconciliation.
- Prepare detailed visit reports, including payment status, challenges encountered, and recommendations for follow‑up actions.
- Coordinate with the central credit team to update the loan management system in real time.
- Identify early warning signs of delinquency and proactively communicate potential escalations to supervisors.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy during all interactions, safeguarding the company’s reputation.
- Adhere to the defined work schedule: Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional adjustments for peak collection periods.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: No upper age limit; candidates must be physically capable of frequent travel within the designated area.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant field collection experience are welcome.
- Key Skills:
- Strong verbal communication and active listening abilities.
- Negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Basic numeracy for handling payments and calculating interest or penalties.
- Proficiency with mobile devices and familiarity with field‑service applications.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet daily collection targets.
- High ethical standards and respect for customer confidentiality.
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation are preferred but not mandatory; the company can provide a vehicle for qualified candidates.
