Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Manajer Kontrol Inventaris to join our logistics team at the Hub in Kabupaten Tangerang. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, safety, and efficiency of our inventory management processes across the greater Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) region. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, shift‑based environment, collaborating with warehouse operators, quality assurance staff, and supply‑chain planners to maintain optimal stock levels and compliance with food‑safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Verify that every surat jalan (delivery note) matches the physical goods received, flagging any discrepancies immediately.
- Conduct regular temperature checks of freezers and chillers, recording readings twice per shift and ensuring they remain within regulatory limits.
- Cross‑check sales orders (SO) against inbound physical items, updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with accurate receipt quantities.
- Document instances of over‑receipt, under‑receipt, or bad stock, and initiate corrective actions with the quality team.
- Enter received quantities into the WMS, marking rejected or damaged items for further disposition.
- Organise inventory using FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expired First Out) methodologies to minimise waste and maintain product freshness.
- Measure and log temperature data on a per‑shift basis using standardized forms, ensuring traceability for audits.
- Oversee the disposal process for bad stock, ensuring proper documentation, compliance with environmental regulations, and safe destruction of expired or damaged products.
- Assist in periodic physical inventory counts and cycle counts, reconciling system data with on‑hand stock.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements, automation opportunities, and best‑practice SOP updates.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates, maximum age of 35 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related logistics function.
- Willingness to work in the Jabodetabek area and to operate on a rotating shift schedule.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- High attention to detail, ability to follow instructions meticulously, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting.
- Physical agility and the capability to handle manual tasks such as lifting, moving pallets, and inspecting goods.
- Demonstrated reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
- Basic understanding of food‑safety standards and temperature‑controlled storage requirements.
