Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Koordinator Spa & Wellness to join the dynamic team at Arya Villas Ubud. This is an exciting internship opportunity designed for active university students or fresh graduates who are eager to launch a career in the hospitality and wellness industry. The role offers hands‑on experience in a luxury resort setting, providing exposure to world‑class spa operations, guest interaction, and service excellence. The internship runs for a defined period, with a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily spa and wellness activities, ensuring that treatment rooms are prepared, stocked, and ready for guest appointments.
- Manage the booking system, schedule therapists, and allocate resources efficiently to maximize occupancy and minimize guest wait times.
- Maintain inventory of linens, oils, aromatherapy supplies, and equipment, placing orders with approved vendors and tracking deliveries.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new spa staff, reinforcing the brand’s service standards and hygiene protocols.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries, handling special requests, and resolving any concerns promptly and courteously.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular audits of treatment areas and equipment.
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports, analyzing occupancy trends, revenue figures, and guest feedback to support management decisions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote seasonal packages, wellness retreats, and special events.
- Support the development of new wellness programs, such as yoga‑meditation sessions, nutrition workshops, and holistic therapies.
- Ensure that the spa environment reflects the resort’s aesthetic – clean, serene, and professionally presented at all times.
Requirements
- Active university student or fresh graduate from hospitality, tourism, business, or a related field.
- Genuine interest in the hospitality and wellness sector, with a willingness to learn about spa therapies and guest services.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a distinct advantage.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting the high standards of a luxury resort.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Highly disciplined, responsible, and proactive with a strong sense of initiative.
- Basic computer literacy – familiarity with scheduling software or Microsoft Office Suite.
