Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver parcels using a personal motorbike or small delivery vehicle to residential and commercial addresses throughout Tebing Tinggi and surrounding districts.
- Conduct a thorough pre‑delivery check of each order, confirming product integrity, correct labeling, and documentation.
- Perform post‑delivery verification, including obtaining customer signatures or digital confirmations and reporting any discrepancies.
- Assist with on‑site loading and unloading of goods, ensuring items are handled gently to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs in the SPX mobile application, updating status in real time for dispatch and customer visibility.
- Report daily activity, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incident or vehicle issues to the operations supervisor.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company guidelines while on the road.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering basic queries, handling cash‑on‑delivery transactions when required, and representing the Shopee Xpress brand professionally.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on route optimization, handling fragile items, and emergency response.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (SIM) that can be upgraded to a commercial license if needed.
- Own a well‑maintained motorbike (or small van) with up‑to‑date registration and insurance.
- Age between 18 and 45 years.
- Residence within the designated service area or willingness to relocate.
- Minimum education: any level (SMA/SMK or higher).
- Android smartphone with at least 3 GB RAM for the SPX delivery app.
- Strong sense of punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for handling documentation and cash‑on‑delivery payments.
- Good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate courteously with customers and team members.
- Physical ability to lift and carry parcels up to 15 kg and navigate tight urban spaces.
